Priorities Should Come First

Are you are person that just takes life as it comes, never setting any goals, just rolling with the punches? Are there things about yourself that keep you so busy, that you are missing out on deeper relationships with maybe your children or your spouse?

Some of the things that come to mind are always cleaning,  and being a perfectionist. By this I mean that every little thing has to be dusted, and in place in your house, or else you start yelling, and become a basket case. When you are around others and worry about saying "just the right thing", because they might not like you, or say something derogatory about you, or think you are a complete idiot.

These are just a few of the things that would hinder the development of a deeper relationship with your children or mate. Think about what you hold dearly as top priorities in your life, and make adjustments in your daily habits. By doing this you might just find that changes start to occur with others. They might just start treating you differently. Those things that you thought were so very important, become less and less important as you adjust your priorities.

Take time to smell the roses, and set aside some time to just call a friend or family member, who you haven't spoken to in quite a while. Set aside some quality time with your mate to discuss lifestyle adjustments, that would enhance or deepen your relationship with them.
